FAQs
Demand for food is currently high and VicRelief Foodbank is
working incredibly hard to ensure as much food gets redistributed
to people experiencing hardship as possible.
Whilst we are very fortunate to be able to get much of our food
donated, the reality is that we still need to purchase food, in
particular, staple foods such as rice.
We are currently critically short of food but we do want to feed
as many people doing it tough as possible throughout this year.
The homeless, the unemployed, asylum seekers, families suffering
the effects of bushfire and drought; they are all desperately in
need of support.
Your donation to VicRelief Foodbank will certainly be used
effectively. Our ability to help Victorians via our 480 strong
network of community organisations is unsurpassed.
We rely almost wholly on contributions from our supporters.
Their willingness to become involved has enabled many Victorians to
get back on their feet, or gain a fresh start in life.
There are many ways you too can get involved.
You could make a food donation, or make a cash donation, or even
give some of your time as a VicRelief Foodbank volunteer. |
